My answer is always the same.

Aspen isn't a place where you need a different outfit every day.

It's a place where great pieces work harder.

A beautiful coat.

A cashmere knit.

Denim that fits perfectly.

One pair of boots you'll happily walk the entire town in.

A warm hat.

Layers you can add or remove as the day changes.

Winter here moves between crisp mornings, bright afternoons and long dinners by the fire.

The women whose style I admire most don't carry enormous suitcases.

They simply know what suits them.

I always pack textures.

Cashmere.

Faux fur.

Soft knits.

Leather.

Pieces that feel luxurious but never overdone.

If you're only visiting for a few days, remember this.

Nobody notices how many outfits you brought.

They notice how confidently you wear them.
