WHERE THE DAY DOESN'T END WHEN THE LIFTS CLOSE.

Some people think Aspen is about skiing.

I've always thought it begins when you take the skis off.

The afternoon light changes.

Music starts drifting across town.

Boots replace ski boots.

Someone orders champagne.

Someone else orders fries for the table.

Nobody seems to be in a hurry.

That's the Aspen I fell in love with.

Après isn't really about drinking.

It's about slowing down.

It's about conversations that somehow last three hours.

The coat thrown over your shoulders instead of zipped to your chin.

The table outside because the sun is still warm.

Friends appearing without making plans.

Luxury has always felt different to me in Aspen.

It isn't polished.

It's relaxed.

Beautiful without trying too hard.

The best outfits aren't planned.

They're layered.

Cashmere.

Denim.

A beautiful coat.

Boots that have walked every street in town.

I've realised over the years that the women whose style I admire most don't dress for attention.

They dress for the life they're living.

Maybe that's why Angel Wings has always felt more at home at après than on the ski slopes.

Because the day doesn't end when the lifts close.

Sometimes...

That's when the best part begins.
